DESCRIPTION:       BRINGING COMPASSIONATE CARING INTO OUR COMMUNITIES \n  \nDuring this introductory discussion\, learn about the Tender Loving Care™ Course\, \ndesigned by soul midwives to teach anyone interested in learning ways to provide \ncompassionate and loving care at the end of life. We will also do an experiential to \ndemonstrate how mindful presence can be a practical tool in enrichening our compassion \nfor self and others. \nTender Loving Care™ is a non-medical holistic practice exploring what constitutes \na deeply sacred and peaceful death. The course teaches hands-on practical skills \nsuch as deep listening\, identifying stages of dying\, supportive gentle touch\, and \nhow to create a sacred space during vigiling. \nExchange: Donations appreciated. \n  \nPresenters: \nKathleen Kopec -I am a Soul Midwife and RN and an accredited Tender Loving Care trainer in the US. I have specialized in serving the needs of individuals at end of life during many years of healthcare experience. My passion is to teach others how death and care for the dying can provide a context for living a more meaningful life. \nSusan Wilson -I am a Soul Collage Facilitator\, Music Therapist and Vision Therapist. During my work as a music therapist\, I served at bedside in hospice care. I am passionate about teaching how understanding the act of mindful presence can be a valuable tool to use at end of life as well as for our own personal growth.
